Junior Team Tennis (JTT) is a USTA program that helps junior players improve their skills through clinics, practice matches, and recorded matches in a team format, all while having fun!
Junior Team Tennis (JTT) is a national USTA program that aims to unite young players aged 5-18 to foster individual growth, social development, life skills, and teamwork. It offers increased opportunities for players to compete in level-based doubles, mixed doubles, and singles matches. This unique opportunity also provides young athletes the fun and excitement of team competition with a chance to compete at the USTA JTT Sectional Tournament at which will occur December 6th & 7th at Newks Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels, TX.
All JTT practices, clinics, and matches are held on Sunday's at 1:30 at Bush Tennis Center.
In September, we focus on developing players' skills in singles and doubles through coach-led clinics and practice matches. We will also work on forming teams.
In October, players will compete in recorded competition matches in both doubles and singles.
At the end of the competition matches, the team with the most win in their division will have an opportunity to advance to the USTA Sectional Tournament.

We understand things come up with family, school, and schedules. It is OK if you miss a day but each player must play at least two qualifying matches to attend the USTA JTT Texas Section Tournament.
If we have to reschedule due to weather or other conflict, you will receive a text message and email with details. You can also check this website!
Private lessons are not included as part of the fee. This consists of any additional clinics players may want before attending sectionals. Please get in touch with Bush Tennis Center for more information about lessons.
Each player is required to have the proper equipment to play such as a racquet, proper court shoes, and water. JTT will ONLY provide the equipment for local competition matches and your competition shirt for sectionals.
